Today is Pink Shirt Day! A group of teenage friends in Nova Scotia organized a high-school protest to wear pink in sympathy with a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. They took a stand against bullying when they protested against the harassment of a new Grade 9 student by distributing pink T-shirts to all the boys in their school. As they stood in the foyer handing out the shirts, the bullied boy walked in. His face spoke volumes. The bullies were never heard from again. Thank you for showing your support by wearing pink today!

We’re proud to recognize our curlers who competed at pre-districts. You showed great teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship!
Boys Team:
Leads Max showed positivity and dedication, and Joshua gave great effort and strong sweeping. William stayed calm under pressure and supported the team at second. Jett made some amazing takeouts, and Kyle did a great job calling the game and leading the team as skip.
Girls Grade 6 Team:
Leads Ivy and Olive worked hard getting rocks in play especially impressive for Ivy in her first year. Briar showed great slides with amazing draws at second, Elise made an awesome takeout, and Maren called a great game and made some strong hits as skip.
Girls Grade 7 Team:
Leads Saphira and Sophia started strong, with Saphira making a perfect draw-and-guard combo.Sophia brought great excitement and positivity to the game. Ava supported the team with strong, consistent play at second, Estelle swept hard and supported the team all game, and Lily called a great game and made great draws as skip.
Congratulations to all teams. The boys for earning a win. Both girls’ teams had an exciting battle that came down to the very last rock! Miss Fedak is so proud to see how much you’ve grown, how you supported each other, and the amazing sportsmanship you showed. Great job, everyone!

Congratulations to the basketball team for their second place finish in the SW Boys League. The team fought hard against Holdfast last night and gave it their all traveling with only seven players. The team was victorious in the fourth quarter thanks to the superior passing of Ross and Cooper, tireless workethic of Jayce, quick steals by Yixi, super shooting by Dale and Hudson and outstanding rebounding by Josie. Well done team!
If there are any students that have projects still in the IA lab from last semester, please make a plan to take these home or they will be repurposed.
